Causes: Environment, Natural Resources Conservation & Protection
Mission: To promote community pride, preservation, and economic growth through beautification, historic preservation and community development.
Programs: Although we recently reformed after ceasing to be a wisconsin main street city, we have contributed to the following: algoma library friends $500 for help in opening of used book store. Algoma high school $500 for help in developing a teen area in conjunction with the algoma shanty days celebration. Algoma fire & rescue $1000 donation to their fundraising to purchase new equipment for the algoma fire department.
