Birmingham, a grassroots campaign to capture the voice of people about the future of the city's public school system, leading to creation of Birmingham Education Foundation; Three Parks Initiative, resulting in the creation and expansion of three parks that make Birmingham a national leader in open space per capita; School Readiness Initiative, leading to increase support for voluntary, high-quality pre-school education at the state level and a blueprint for improvements in Jefferson County; Health Action Partnership, helping people make the healthy choice the easy choice across Jefferson County..
