Programs: Community services program: the organization offers community members its dispute resolution services in areas such as separation/divorce in traditional and non-traditional relationship, neighborhood disputes, workplace conflicts. Total cases handled of during the year: 177 referrals screened and 29 cases mediated.
court program: the organization provides individuals an alternative to resolving disputes outside of the courtroom by offering mediation services. Total cases handled during the year: 225 referrals screened and 225 cases mediated.
mediation training seminars: the organization conducted 27 seminars to train individuals in mediation skills (many of whom join cdsc's volunteer roster), to provide advanced seminars in areas of speciality/professional development, and to teach people about how to deal effectively with conflict situations. 699 individuals attended these training seminars.
