Mission: The purpose of the organization is to improve and advance the viability of the city of hartford, connecticut by creating, articulating and implementing arts strategies designed to increase the region's livability, support increased tourist visitation, enhance workforce competitiveness, encourage economic and job growth and otherwise relieve community deterioration.
Programs: Implement and monitor a grid of pedestrian routes that will weave together hartford's key cultural sites and institutions located within a 15 minute walk of each other, around a theme of innovation in science, art and human affairs.
