Mission: Cdcb's mission is to assist low-income families in education and affordable housing opportunities through rental and homeownership.
Programs: To assist low-income families in attaining or preserving homeownership or affordable rental housing through housing counseling, afforable rents, below market financing, construction and use of the home designs and target outreach.
the youthbuild program seeks to line job training, education enhancement and affordable housing production by working with drop-out youths from low-income families between the ages of 17 and 24. Cdcb youthbuild provides a range of support services, including child care, along with a training stipend. A major focus is to provide work opportunities in the participant's own neighborhood.
