Mission: Our Vision We envision a community strengthened by diverse individuals and families who are empowered and supported by caring environments. Our Mission Community Counseling Center: • Develops and provides quality, outcome-based services that enhance the emotional strength and well-being of Maine residents throughout their lives. • Provides counseling, prevention, and education to resolve personal and interpersonal issues through traditional and specialty services. • Identifies, evaluates, and responds to community needs through innovative services. • Encourages community collaboration and partnerships through leadership and advocacy. • Promotes quality of care and best practices in our community by providing consultation, education, and training. Our Values We recognize that healthy families are vital to a healthy society. A family consists of two or more people, whether living together or apart, related by blood, marriage, adoption, or commitment to care for one another. We recognize the diversity and inherent worth of each individual, who collectively forms the backbone of our community. We value children as the future of our society and promote their right to care and nurturing in a safe, healthy environment. We respect elders, for they represent the wisdom and rich history of our community, they pass on to our youth through their actions and words.
