Mission: Education & support for at-risk families.
Programs: Parents groups: seven varied groups and programs provide support and education for families with children, ages birth through three years. A newsletter was distributed monthly to approximately 1400 people.
first steps and moms home visitors endeavor to increase self-sufficiency, improve parenting skills, reduce child neglect/abuse. At-risk pregnant/parenting women were served by this program.
parent education classes provided education sessions for adults. Childcare services were provided for children during these education sessions. The sessions last from five to eight weeks.
