Mission: To increase the self-determination and self-sufficiency of individuals and families who are in need.
Programs: Housing and shelter program provides rental assistance and case management for homeless individuals adn families, and households at risk of homelessness. Canv also operates the samaritan family shelter, south napa shelter, hope resource center, and emergency winter shelter.
child care program - the canv kids child development and family program provides qualified low-income families with subsidized pre-school and child care services for infants and children up to 5 years old.
food bank program - the napa food bank provides bi-monthly brown bag services to low-income seniors and usda surplus food commodities and donated food to low-income individuals and families in napa county. The food is distributed through other agencies, meal programs and pantries.
