CGC is THE voice for the environment in Miami and South Florida. Not only arethey the only Hispanic group working for the environment, they are by far one of the best overall!
I love the work Common Ground For Conservation is providing to the environment and the community. I especially enjoy the programs, events and promotions the organization creates to help us understand our impact on the environment. We all can make simple adjustments to diminish and reduce our carbon foot print. Programs spear headed by Mildred Real, CEO of CGC have inspired me to motivate my peers to think about conservation. I am happy to be a volunteer and be affiliated with this cause to help our environment. Common Ground For Conservation is a voice to keep our planet GREEN!

I have several years to know this organization and have seen the efforts of its two main drivers: Carlos Gomez and Mildred Real. I've been called to participate in several opportunities in which they wanted to achieve a goal and I am proud to have been associated with this organization, dedicated to promoting environmental conservation and natural resources. CGC has the difficult task of keeping us informed, to take forward the integration of community and support all programs that support education with great dedication, respect to events that affect natural resources and have achieved their goals: the community Hispanic involvement in this difficult task to assemble and keep us interested in this vital issue.
All activities proposed in this organization have been a total success and have marked the community in a positive way.
I love this foundation because thier quality education about conservation of Florida Everglades Resources.

I've volunteered for Common Ground for Conservation since early 2009 and truthfully, I could not be more grateful for having the opportunity to help the natural environment while simultaneously learning about its wonders, wilderness and current challenges. Mildred Real is sincerely concerned with environmental issues of today, and this organization is doing its best to raise awareness about pollution, sustainability and the development of alternative, renewable energy resources. Volunteering for CGC has been amazing; one could not go home without being taught something about our surroundings and having that great feeling of doing good after a volunteering event. Adults and kids of all ages can benefit from and be able to give back to nature in an enjoyable and productive manner.

I'm so proud of COMMON GROUND FOR CONSERVATION, I BEEN LEAVING IN MIAMI FLORIDA FOR THE LAST 20 YEARS, AND IS THE FIRST TIME THAT I SEE AN ORGANIZATION REALLY CONCERN ABOUT THE WATER WE DRINK EVERY DAY ,THE AIR WE BREATH,BUT TO TEACH EVERYONE REGARDLESS THE AGE HOW TO PROTECT FOR THE FUTURE OUR NATURAL ENVIRONMENT., FOR OUR KIDS THIS IS A GREAT EXPERIENCE,
IN OUR LAST FIELD TRIP I HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO TAKE MY 16 & 13 YEARS OLD TO SEE AND FEEL WHAT IS ABOUT TO CARE OF OUR NATURE
WETLANDS OF THE EVERGLADES FLORIDA. THANKS TO CGC THEY WANT TO COME BACK AND KEEP SUPPORTING CGC , THEY KNOW THAT IS HAS TO BE FROM US, WE CAN'T WAIT FOR OTHERS TO DO IT.
