Causes: Deaf & Hearing Impaired Centers, Disabilities, Human Services
Mission: We strive to offer self-reliance by providing language academic vocational physical spiritual and economic oppertunities for deaf and hard of hearing.
Programs: Provide room and board for 44 deaf students age 4 to 18. Provide language development, educational opportunities and spiritual development for 50deaf students (44 dorm students and 6 day students). Provide vocational training for 5 students. Held intensive leadership training for staff. Added refrigeration and freezer capabilities for improved food safety and storage. Hosted seven mission trip teams , with a total of 55 trip participants. Hosted three hearing health teams, with a total of 32 hearing care professionals anddoctors of audiology, providing hearing testing and hearing devices forn hda students.
