(the foundation) is organized are religious, charitable, scientific, literary, and educational purposes within the meaning of section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code. The activities of the foundation will consist of assisting and supporting employees of columbia forest products, inc. Employee stock ownership plan, and the company's subsidiaries or affiliates (herein referred to collectively as "cfp") who are victims of emergencies, disasters, and/or catastrophe; to provide scholarships to dependents of cfp, and to make gifts and grants to charitable, religious, educational, and scientific organizations.
