Mission: The colorado select girls hockey association was created to promote and advance girls' hockey in colorado by providing girls the opportunity to play hockey in a well-organized and supported atmosphere, where they can achieve their varied goals and have fun in the process.
Programs: Fielded 11 girls' ice hockey teams and provided camps and clinics to promote girls hockey in colorado. Provides the only all-girls learn-to-play programs in the area. "hosted international hockey federation world girls hockey day in which we had approximately 40 girls attend. This event was to promote girls playing hockey and trying it for free. "hosted usa hockey's one goal/try hockey for free day in which we had approximately 50 boys and girls attend. "offered again our spring test drive program for 6 weeks, which is learn to play hockey for girls. Program is offered at a low cost to introduce girls to playing hockey. We had approximately 30 girls attend this program. "able to help place 16 players into division i or division ii ncaa schools to continue to play hockey.
