Mission: Colorado people's alliance (copa) is a racial justice, member-driven organization dedicated to advancing and winning progressive social change locally, statewide and nationally. Copa builds power to improve the lives of all coloradans through leadership development, organizing and alliance building.
Programs: Colorado people's alliance is a racial justice, member-led organization that works with those who are most directly impacted by the issues to lead our work for change. We work to develop leaders by providing leadership trainings and providing the necessary tools to our members so they lead our work. In 2017 we engaged community at the doors in our efforts for climate justice, we engaged local businesses and community in support of our immigrants rights efforts. We worked hard to fight back against anti- immigrant efforts and to move proactive policies to protect our immigrant and refugee communities. We worked with allies to continue to ensure colorado builds an economy that works for all and to move our state into a just and equitable transition to a renewable energy economy.
