Mission: The Colorado Outdoor Training Initiative (COTI) enhances Colorado's public as well as protected lands by providing conservation leadership and land stewardship skills training. As Colorado's land management agencies rely more and more on volunteers and non-profit organizations to complete important conservation projects, there is an ever-growing need to develop a cadre of well-trained project leaders. The Colorado Outdoor TrainingInitiative meets this need by providing conservation leadership and land stewardship training that teaches individuals the skills necessary to lead important land stewardship and conservation projects across the state.
