Causes: Chambers of Commerce & Business Leagues
Mission: The colony chamber of commerce is an association of member businesses, organizations, and individuals whose goal is to further the interests of businesses and the community. The chamber works on the local level to bring the business community together to develop strong local networks, which can result in business-to-business exchanges. The chamber works with local government, such as the mayor, the city council, and local representatives to develop pro-business initiatives.
Programs: The organization posts a weekly e-newsletter which provides information about community events, chamber events, new members, and ribbon cutting ceremonies. The chamber also maintains a website that allows members to post job openings, coupons, member links, and banner ads.
the chamber holds up to 3 special events (casino night, job fair, holiday party) at various locations in the community that are free to members which provide opportunities for them to network and meet other people in the business community.
