My husband is a retired Firefighter. In the final decade of his 30 year career, he was diagnosed with stage 3 melanoma. It was determined to be a job incurred illness. Firefighters are exposed to dangerous toxins everyday in their work.
Code 3 for a Cure brings compassion, friendship and support to fellow firefighters fighting a life challenging illness such as cancer ~ often related to exposure to smoke, and toxins on the job.
