Mission: Motivated by christian faith, cobys family services educates, supports, and empowers children and adults to reach their full potential
Programs: The foster care program provides care for children up to the age of 21. The goal of foster care is to assist biological families in resolving the issues that led to placement so that families can be reunited as quickly and safely as possible.
cobys family services facilitates state-subsidized adoption of foster children through the statewide adoption and permanency network (swan).
the permanency unit goal is to reunify children in foster care with their biological family or find an alternative permanent placement if reunification cannot be achieved. The goal of the permanency unit, operated in partnership with the lancaster county children and youth social service agency is to find a permanent home for foster children as quickly and safely as possible.
counseling, family nurturing and family life education are provided.
