Causes: Human Services
Mission: Feed the hungry and assist our partner agencies free of charge.
Programs: Obtained and distributed food to 50 food banks, four feedings programs, seven senior centers, and five native american tribes. We also contribute on a smaller scale towards events and organizations feeding homeless, summer youth programs, and other similar needs. The center served 563,533 people and distributed over 2,720,337 pounds of food. We also trucked nearly 2,500 miles in making delivers each month. In addition to distributing food granted from coastal harvest, we assisted other local agencies to distribute food collected by or granted to their agency. We distributed an additional 813,663 pounds of food through these partnerships.
