Mission: The mission of the coalition for the deschutes is to work for the restoration and protection of the deschutes river and its watershed through education and advocacy so that fish and wildlife can thrive and future generations can enjoy and benefit from a healthy river and watershed.
Programs: 20 educational presentations, field trips, gatherings 1,600 attendees at our educational presentations, field trips, and gatherings 9 stories and letters in local media (ktvz news, bend bulletin, source weekly)3 speaking engagements: pints and politics, upper deschutes river coalition; league of women voters10 tabling at events and festivals hostedcountless thousands reached by our programs, newsletter, media, speaking engagements, and tabling on behalf of the river.
