Mission: The Coalition for the Advancement of Student Activities (CASA) is committed to empowering student leaders and advisers through its diverse program offerings. CASA was founded to satisfy the need for well-trained student activity advisers and coaches. CASA began sponsoring adviser training seminars in 1993 and took over the sponsorship of the Student Leadership Training Program (SLTP) in 1994.The SLTP is an experiential learning laboratory where students and their advisers can learn how to make a difference in their schools and community. The key word is "how", because leadership is action. The SLTP empowers responsible action.
