Causes: Environment, Forest Conservation
Mission: Cloud forest conservation alliance, inc. Has been formed to promote, support and sustain worldwide efforts of preservation of tropical cloud and rainforests, including reforestation, research and creating public awareness on issues related to this endeavor. Restoring and preserving the native forest protects the biodiversity for which the neotropical forests are so famous. 3 areas of concern are: 1. To preserve strategic portions of tropical forests; 2. To help rebuild deforested areas of the tropical forests as well as protecting the existing forest and allow natural re-growth and 3. Research and education focused on understanding, protecting and explaining to others the tropical/cloud forest ecology.
