I think this is a great organization because you are helping who aren’t able to afford clothes. Also you are helping mothers, fathers, and children by sharing these clothes. It’s a great way to help other and contribute to the dear neighbor.
My first encounter with Clothes The Deal was some years ago as a client. I am a single parent and was in great need of assistance. I was refered to this organization by LACOE/GAIN a welfare to work program. CTD gave me quality clothing to help me futher in my search for employment, through perseverance I was successful. A turn of events led me once again to CTD, but now as a temp. I put my heart into this organization honored to work closely with those like myself, trying to help them the best way I could making them feel "It's ok", and you too will soon be working, with now added confidance to walk with in the interview room dressed like everyone else. Before long CTD hired me, and I've been fortunate to continue helping those in need with a great deal of conpassion, and understanding. Thank you Clothes The Deal for your faith in me, and not labeling me as somone with hardships, but as a good worker that could benefit Clothes The Deal.
My experience of the people that work with this organization is that of dedication and an abundance of spirit to help those in need. Teaching people tools and giving those the boost in self-esteem they need to land and then keep the job they desperately need, is the work of Angels. Now they are working to include other programs such as providing support to working mothers and tools to "Survive and Thrive" in this economy. They have done so much with so little, it's quite amazing.
I have donated business clothing to this organization. I am very impressed with their networking skills that result in many more vendors contributing to their client base. I have attended some of their fundraising efforts. There is a charisma about this foundation's employees and volunteers that transfers to those attending their events. What a wonderful foundation.
CTD and Kedren have been doing business for about a year now and it's been great. We get great deals for our clients and it has proven to be very rewarding for us to see our clients feel proud and happy to go out for a change. CTD has great service and quality. It is wonderful to see that dressing up can change the view of a prospective employer and change the life of a client. We have high regards for the people who volunteer and work at CTD because they are dedicated to helping people just like us here at Kedren. The best way to help people is to get them a job like CTD does by preparing them for an interview. Nami Roberts Peer Advocate
Clothes The Deal is an outstanding organization. They help fill a gap by providing much needed business attire to various agencies that help out men and women such as high risks youths, former welfare mothers and fathers and veterans. I volunteer for this great organization because I have seen first hand how dedicated the staff, board members and volunteers are in their efforts and time spent in ensuring that Clothes The Deal continues to provide it's much needed services to those in need.
Clothes The Deal is a wonderful organization that offers low-income individuals gain self-esteem and confidence to enter the workforce. Its an organization that continues to grow and a great place to volunteer to be part of that experience.
I have been involved with CTD for several years now and I have seen it grow from a grass roots organization to an organization that networks with many other non-profits to provide not only clothing, but training and education for a variety of people trying to rejoin the workforce. This has evolved with the dedication of many hard working volunteers who believe in this program. I have experienced first hand the difference CTD makes in the lives of their clients.
I have been associated with Clothes the Deal for over fifteen years. It has grown from a small non-profit to a larger one whose impact on the lives of individuals in Southern California (be they welfare to work, Veterans' groups, etc.) has been tremendous. Their staff throughout this period has been above professional. Their genuine zeal for the mission of CTD is readily apparent. They are truly a vital part of the communities here in Southern California.
Clothes the Deal provides a wonderful service to individuals who are trying to get back into the work force. Clothes the Deal teaches individuals how to dress, how to wear makeup and boots their self esteem. The organization is run by a very qualified and dedicated group.
Clothes the Deal is an amazing local non-profit which supports over 80 agencies, incuding domestic violence, homeless and veteran groups. I recently participated at a Brighton event, where over 40 Clothes the Deal clients came in with suits and we styled them with accessories and shoes. It was amazing to see their confidence level increase in mere minutes! That is what it is all about. Making a difference in someone's life. Increasing their confidence level helps when they walk into an interview. When you believe in yourself, it shows and others want to believe in you. Clothes the Deal makes a difference and I am proud to be part of this amazing organization.
A wonderful group of dedicated professionals providing education and clothing all across Southern California. You can see and feel the passion of the board, staff, and volunteers as they assist in making the world a better place one working person at a time by building strength, confidence and growth.
Clothes the Deal is a great non profit. It is a pleasure to work with them. At this point I have been with Clothes the Deal for a few months. Every time I get to facilitate a workshop the feeling is so rewarding. The groups are from all different backgrounds and experiences which makes each workshop a challenge, however these challenges go along way in making me better and more well rounded. Clothes the Deal is a great non profit and I have nothing to say but great things; I know that there are great things to come as well.
Clothes the deal is an amazing organization with great values and ethics. Their vision of giving back and providing job training and clothing to at risk youth and men and women in transitional facilities has changed my outlook on life. I volunteered with Clothes the Deal by participating in one of their workshops and I felt soo involved that I wanted to become a major supporter of CTD long term. Awesome organization.
