Nonprofit Overview
Mission: To encourage, engage in, and promote for the benefit of the general public, the preservation of the natural resources of the town of clinton in the state of connecticut, including water resources, marshland, swaps, woodland and open spaces, and the plant and animal life therein, and the preservation of significant and unique scenic sites.
Programs: Land management - the trust provides for maintenance, care and repair of preserved areas. The trust received a grant from the us department of agriculture to plant wildflowers on the preserved land to aid in the ongoing effort to enhance the wildlife's habitat.
the trust established the crosby scholarship and accepts donations to annually award a graduating student from clinton a $1,000 scholarship toward higher education in a field related to environmental studies. The trust donates $2,720 to the bushy hill nature center to fund four nature scholarships in honor of eunice symonds.
