Mission: The climate project's mission was to educate the public about the harmful effects of climate change and to work toward solutions at the grassroots level through our volunteer presenters. It did so by convening and administering training programs to selected trainees who will ultimately serve as volunteer presenters and organize educational seminars throughout the united states to present information on global climate change and work toward solutions at the grass roots level. The climate project provided each of its trainees with training material, access to the slide show compiled by mr. Al gore (on which the movie an inconvenient truth is based), and on-going support and updated scientific and related information and materials.
Programs: The climate project terminated at the end of 2011 by donating remaining assets to the alliance for climate protection, an organization with a similar mission, services and activities.
