Mission: To raise funds and awareness for projects and services that support and improve quality healthcare, education, and wellness for clarion hospital and surrounding communities. See schedule o for additional information.
Programs: The main emphasis for the foundation during this fiscal year was working on the capital campaign for cancer equipment. 50% of the foundation salaries and benefits are applied to the expenses. Before equipment was removed we treated 115 radiation oncology patients per year. We hope to return to that level in the future.
assist with the hospital community health needs assessment. Develop goals for the hospital to aid the community in their healthcare needs. Assist wellness coordinator in her role. Fifteen percent of the foundation's salaries and benefits are calculated into the expenses.
senior wellness council event is a semiannual event put together by a committee of volunteers throughout the county agencies to provide education and entertainment to the senior citizens of clarion county. We annually have approximately 450 senior citizens attend the two events. Ten percent of the foundation's salaries and benefits are calculated into the expenses.
