Programs: Support oklahoma school for the blind w/easter egg hunt, special programs & scholarship to student.
civitans visit veterans at the va hospital in muskogee, participate in veterans day parade, helped with a back to school party for head start. We had a christmas party for special ed for 3 & 4 yr olds at the early childhood center & gave thanksgiving baskets to the needy.
we began building a jr civitan club for students in 7th thru 12th grades. This will be a community club and will be chartered.
we continue our fund raising for a handicapped accessible playground and completed phase 1 of that project. The playground will benefit the entire community for all children.
we support programs for developmentally disabled citizens, kelly b todd foundation, special olympics, approx 200 developmentaly disabled in community
we support civitan international research center thru candy box project, jr civitan snodo & civitan at the helm.
