A. CITY OF REFUGE TRANSITION CENTER, INC. is a non-profit corporation and shall be
operated exclusively for educational and charitable purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, or the corresponding section of any future Federal tax code.
B. The mission of CITY OF REFUGE TRANSITION CENTER, INC. is to provide transitional
housing for previously incarcerated men and men with short-term homelessness.
It shall seek to promote self-esteem, self-confidence, and advanced training, empowering each participant to change his behavior and habits, therefore enabling the individual to re-enter society as a productive, law-abiding citizen. The success of this program will enable it to expand target clients to include veterans and the mentally challenged who need the same program of services so that they can be taught positive, life-changing habits, to allow them to be more industrious as they re-enter society.
