Mission: Established in 2010, citizens for a progressive wisconsin, inc. ("cpw") is a state-based independent advocacy organization that conducts public education and grassroots lobbying on the important public policy issues facing wisconsin. Cpw works to advance a progressive public policy agenda for wisconsin. To accomplish its primary social welfare purpose of promoting a progressive public policy agenda, cpw works to advance public policies that: protect natural resources, improve air quality, and provide overall enhancement of wisconsin's environment. Cpw conducts statewide educational programs to inform the general public of the benefits of progressive public policies. It also promotes the adoption of policies by federal, state and local officials to carry out these goals.
Programs: Research: cpw conducted research and public opinion polling on key public policy issues and ideas affecting wisconsin residents' quality of life, including clean energy and good government reforms.
education: cpw sponsored local education programs to educate the general public on public policy issues.
