Causes: Environment, Environmental Education, Natural Resources Conservation & Protection
Mission: The mission of Citizens for a Better South Florida is to provide environmental education, particularly to the diverse underserved community that inspires active stewardship and preservation of the South Florida environment. Citizens for a Better South Florida envisions a South Florida where people preserve and protect the environment because they understand the connections between their actions and the resultant impacts on their neighborhood, the local community, and ultimately the global community.
Programs: Developing and delivering environmental education programming to diverse, multi-cultural cultural constituents of all ages focusing programming to minorities including teacher workshop, field studies, habitat restoration, tree plantings, and community events.
