Mission: Circle city relief exists to help the poor and provide hope to homeless and low income families in the city of indianapolis by providing food and something to drink along with donated clothing and resources to help people in whatever situation they may be in, whether they need permanent or temporary hoursing, employment, couseling for additctions to drugs or alcohol, counseling for abuse both physical and mental. Circle city relief is a non-profit faith based organization that serves every sunday from 10:30 am to 2:00 pm. Matthew and sandy gay started circle city relief (ccr) after they went on two short term mission trips to new york city to serve on the new york city relief bus. After serving there they decided a similar ministry was need in indianapolis because there are hurting people there too. They heat up and prepare food from 10:30 to 12:00 and serve the community from 12:30 to 2:00 behind ips school 60. Once at the serving site there is generally a line of about 50 to 70 peopl
Programs: Circle city relief exists to be the bridge to help and hope to the homeless and hurting people in the city of indianapolis. Ccr continues to feed hundreds of people every week with the donated pizza and soup received. Ccr provided 43,960 meals to individuals in 2012. Ccr also provided clothing to the community. 250 bicycles were repaired by ccr and over 100 bikes donated to the community as individuals need bikes to get to work, interviews or doctors appointments. Circle city relief continues to live out it's mission and will continue to do so in 2013.
