I came upon this organization quite by accident. I needed to volunteer for Community Service and learned for the first time about this agency, here in my own neighborhood, that prepared and served meals for hundreds of people daily. The staff is made up of men and women who have been down on their luck and have reached back to help others along. There is a single Mother''s program which offers housing and opportunity for education so the women can become self-sustaining and productive for their families. This program receives no public funds or taxpayer help. Everything is contributed by several churches and their congregants. This program was a real "find" in my life, and they deserve every bit of help they can get.
