Mission: Church. Christ owned church learning facility has been operating and standing on its own (personal finances only) for over 7 years under the direction of executive director bishop david a. Demby, sr. We offer comprehensive educational opportunities that support economic development and are relevant and responsive to the needs of the community including career, general developmental, social empowerment referrals and assistance, workforce training and lifelong learning. The learning facility believes in the practical value of higher education and learning (in and out of the classroom) as a means of economic and personal advancement. The learning facility respects its students as individuals and as members of diverse groups and is committed to fostering student and family success.

Programs: Homeless prevention program - to provide affordable and safe housing to low income families/ individuals. We were able to totally rehabilitate a mobile home that was donated to us. The home is completely renovated with all new fixtures and heating, electrical and plumbing system. We currently have an individual residing in this unit. The second home that was donated was given a young man that was homeless and now due to this program is a homeowner.

christ owned church learning facility - ged preparation, teaching and opt testing. We have 5 individuals that became certified to teach and administer the opt test (pre-ged). We currently have all of the materials necessary for this program. We are soliciting funding for the salaries of the staff necessary to begin. Clothing giveaway - we receive brand new clothing monthly for kids/youth in our community. It had been very successful. We have given away over 8,000 pieces of clothing to date. We also receive books to provide for youth to college levels to promote literacy to as many ad we can. We also received hot and cold food from the food bank for our at risk after school program.
