I volunteered there a few days ago through my Unitarian Church. A week before I asked my girlfriend, "who does good work?" We both picked on place, and oddly - we both picked this place - Christ House. This place does good work. The people are nice, it achieves a balance between effective outreach and targeting a tough crowd in the inner city. And we just hear from other people that word of mouth says they do good work.
