Causes: Human Services, Residential Care & Adult Day Programs
Mission: The christ child society of detroit is an organization serving the metropolitan detroit and out-state areas of michigan by promoting the well-being of disadvantaged children and their families.
Programs: Christ child house provided residential care as well as therapy and recreation to children between the ages of 6 and 16. Many of these children are temporary wards of the court. Provided services on a daily basis to approximately 20 children. Approximately 35 children received care during the year.
through the christ child society's outreach program, over 2,000 layettes were donated to other agencies for distribution to families in need. Funds were also provided to other child related charitable organizations for children in need. These funds were used to send children to camp and special outings.
