in 2017, kcpa launched the new hampshire dance festival, a platform designed to provide local dance studios, schools, secondary educational institutions, youth ensembles, and performing arts programs with a non-competitive, artistic performance opportunity for young dancers. The festival provides the opportunity to receive valuable adjudication, share and build audiences, and for young artists to experience the art of dance in a whole new environment. The nhydf is dedicated to creating a concert dance experience for new hampshire's youth, while making it accessible to everyone. In 2017, nhydf served 82 dancers, 5 studios, and 12 choreographers/dance professionals (including 4 student choreographers) as well as an unknown number of audience members.
