Causes: Sports, Swimming & Other Water Recreation
Mission: To promote and nationally compete in the sport of water show skiing (defined as all towed water sports including wakeboarding, bare footing, knee boarding and other towed water sports) through group participation, exhibitions, shows, tournaments and associated recreational activities; develop and maintain facilities for water skiing; stimulate interest in the community; and work for greater safety in water skiing. To educate and promote its members to respect, participate and become stewards in the community.
Programs: Weekly water ski shows for the public to promote the sport of show water skiing. No fee for weekly shows. Benefit 5000 people and 110 members.
competition in the us central regional tournament and the us division 1 national tournament under the direction & responsibility of the usa water ski association and the national show skiing association. Benefit 110 members and over $25,000 public spectators.
"learn to ski" community event, offering "learn to ski" for the public at no charge to participants. Benefit 75 participants and 110 members. Water ski show demonstrations- benefit 110 members and 7500 spectators.
