I have supported this organization and the work they do for many years. They are very reputable and are making a difference in the lives of children.
CWB provides health care for children, dignity for families, and hope for the future. My volunteer work with this organization inspired me to enter the medical field, and I am eager to watch how this group continues to inspire others!
I have been a volunteer with CWB for over 4 years. I have seen many children and families benefit from there work and there partners efforts.
CWB provides medical services in areas no other foundation want to go.
The partners ship with the Red Cross of Costa Rica and other NGO's gives support above and beyond all.
CWB keeps moving forward with new partners and new services.
I love volunteering and will continue for many years more. God Bless CWB
This is a non profit that does life saving work for children in Costa Rica
who without this foundation would have no health care
My husband and I have been following donating to the Children's Well-being foundation for the last 7 years. We have visited several of their clinics in Costa Rica and continue to be impressed with the work they are doing.
When you see these children and their mothers getting check-up and basic medical care that they wouldn't ordinarily get it is truly hart warming.
I can't say enough about Dr. Whitelaw and the doctors in Costa Rica.
I have been volunteering for CWB for over 8 years. Every time I go down to volunteer, I learn something new and am continually inspired by the children we work with. CWB has made great strides since they were established not only to provide care to a large number of children in Costa Rica (more recently through making a mobile clinic) but also to provide all-encompassing care through medical, dental and psychological services. There truly is so much to get involved in down there and I highly recommend volunteering for or donating to this awesome charity!
Children's Well Being is providing life-saving & preventative medicine for the underserved children of Costa Rica. These kids would fall through the cracks- if not for CWB. They have just launched a mobile clinic to better reach more children. I am happy to support this organization....GO CWB!!
Childrens Well Being foundation is doing amazing work in the slums of San Jose helping children get the medical attention they need who would otherwise have any medical conditions go undetected.
Please note that Children Without Borders name was changed CHILDREN'S WELL-BEING FOUNDATION in 2012. MILTON, Mass. (Feb. 3, 2012) – Children Without Borders, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing medical care to children, will be celebrating its new name and expanded programs tonight at a Hingham fundraising event to benefit the charity. The new name of the organization, Children’s Well-Being Foundation, reflects the organization’s evolution since its inception in 2007. See www.cwbfoundation.org for the latest developments.
Previous Stories
Children Without Borders is now in its 4th year and is really taking off, especially in Costa Rica. Literally thousands of children are receiving medical and well being care who would not otherwise be seen by medical professionals. Please see what's going on now on www.cwbfdoundation.org. More to come.

Review from Guidestar
I am always saddened when a non-profit organization rides the coattails of another organization. There should only be ONE ((((anything))) Without Borders and that is Medecins Sans Frontieres/Doctors Without Borders.
I went with Children Without Borders to Costa Rica a few years ago, and it was truly a rewarding experience. I was only 16 at the time, and there was still plenty to do and help with despite my inability to help medically. Everybody involved was courteous and the children were so appreciative of the aid that Children Without Borders was providing. I highly recommend volunteering for this organization at any age. No matter what you do you make a difference, and it is truly rewarding.

Thanks for these comments. For the record, please note that Children's Well-Being Foundation has been the name since prior to February 2012.
