Children’s Rainbow Mountain Retreat

A break in the storm, a joyful therapeutic retreat, and the knowledge that dreams can come true…. these are the things we provide for  abused children, children with special needs and children with life threatening illnesses. We believe that a therapeutic dream retreat in the Great Smoky Mountains of Tennessee, filled with laughter and joy, will lift the spirit, enrich lives, create memories, and strengthen hope in a better future. We sprinkle a little magic into the lives of these children and their families.

We offer the children a 4 day retreat, with their families. The trip, the stay, the meals and all the activities are free of charge. The activities for “our” children range from planned group activities, counseling, evenings around the campfire and fishing in the pond, to exciting trips to nearby Pigeon Forge''s  many exciting attractions. We want the children to enjoy themselves and share the joy with their families.

. It is never to late to dream and reach for the stars!

I volunteer for Childrens Rainbow and it is simply an amazing organization with amazing leaders and volunteers, whom share the same passion in life. That passion is to empower children whom are special needs, abused, or terminally ill and their families. They provide these special children and their families with therapuetic retreats. It's simply amazing to see a smile on a face of a child whom has fought a battle day after day, and to know you are a part of that smile. Also when families get together and can share their stories together and help support each other, you know you have done what you have set out to do. That's exactly what Childrens Rainbow is set out to do. To HELP these special kids and families. It's an awesome organization and I recommend everyone to get involved in some way.
