Causes: Children & Youth, Children & Youth Services
Mission: To Heal & Teach - Children's Lifeline provides medical teams and surgical assistance to underprivileged children in developing countries. Multidisciplinary voluntary missions in partnership with local hospitals are vital for these countries to achieve independence and be self-sustaining.
Results: Over 30 years of medically caring for children around the world. In 2012, CLI traveled to 15 countries to treat over 2,098 children in dire need of medical care.
Target demographics: Children from birth to adolescent in developing countries around the world. Treating primarily pediatric cardiac, also surgical care for cleft palates and clinical such as water borne diseases.
Direct beneficiaries per year: Healing children in dire need of care.
Geographic areas served: Developing areas in countries such as, Cambodia, Ghana, Ecuador, Peru, India, Panama, Uganda, Haiti, and Sierra Leone to name a few.
