Causes: Health, Heart & Circulatory System Diseases & Disorders
Mission: The mission of Children's HeartLink is to save the lives of children with heart disease, we partner with organizations to train medical teams, provide education and transform health care in underserved parts of the world.
Results: Our train-the-trainer model is working to build sustainable centers in Brazil, China, India, Malaysia and Vietnam to reach and treat children born with congenital heart defects. In 2016, our 13 partner hospitals reached 74,000 children and performed more than 11,000 life-saving surgeries and interventions.
