Nonprofit Overview
Mission: To impact the lives of young people, including those with special needs and veterans by providing learning facilities and educational programs that promote character development and life-enhancing values through the game of golf.
Programs: Operated an 11-acre golf practice facility and delivered programs at over 20 other locations in palm beach, martin, st. Lucie and broward counties providing golf instruction to many young people, including those with disabilities and special needs and veterans groups. In 2016, our participants included over 1300 students from various youth development organizations including ymcas, boys and girls clubs and faith based organizations. We served over 300 students from multiple special needs programs and registered over 150 summer campers. Over 80% of our students are either african american or hispanic and come from low to moderate income households. The majority of our students and groups that participate in our programs have no means to pay and we must fund the entire program through donations to our organization.
