Causes: Eye Diseases, Blindness & Vision Impairments, Health
Mission: The children's eye foundation was established in 1970. Our mission, to eliminate preventable blindness in children, is accomplished through programs that support pediatric ophthalmology research and training, and promote the highest quality eye care for children through public education and service.
Programs: Cef maintains several other programs to accomplish its mission. These include eye care for kids, see by three, little patriots and the parks medal program. In addition, the foundation is constantly evaluating and exploring new additional programs to develop and fund.

This information is available on the cef website, the eye care for kids calendar, and through the little ambassador videos that chronicle the experiences of children who have had eye issues.
amblyopia 411a public awareness campaign to explain amblyopia and to stress the importance of vision screening in preschoolers. Amblyopia 411 provides a patching kit to help parents and their children.
