Mission: Primary exempt purpose is to serve the unmet health care needs of children by solving urgent health problems, accessing resources, and faciliatating treatment, education and care.
Programs: The child in crisis program provides funds for medical related expenses for children who exceed the coverage of the family's medical insurance. This program assista families with funds to address the need for prescriptions, prosthetics, equipment, rehabilitation, emergency transportation, travel to distant medical facilities, meals, and motel expenses while the child is receiving care in the teriary care setting away from home. During this year, the program was able to assist 19 families whose children had encountered a severe illness or injury.
