This wonderful non-profit organization focuses on providing free education to under-privileged kids, especially girls, in Rishikesh, India. Children receive a few hours of instruction, including reading and writing in Hindi and English, social skills, art, music, meditation and traditional Indian dance. The school also offers a free warm meal to all students every day. It is founded by a music teacher Truike Boekholt-Daly, who on her travels to Rishikesh to become a yoga teacher was so taken by the plight of local children that she decided to do something about it.
