Mission: To provide supportive services to homeless youth ages 21 and under. To provide a safe, stable and nurturing environment to underserved young adults in Solano County and to provide them with life skills training to assist them in becoming self-sufficent.
Geographic areas served: SOLANO COUNTY
Programs: Our basic center program, bcp, serves runaway and homeless youth ages 13 to 17. We provide 24 hours and seven days a week of shelter services. The youth are able to stay at the shelter for 21 days and receive intensive case management and basic needs such as showers, food, clothing, and tutoring. Youth also receive counseling and reunification with family or other resources for permanent housing. Program dissolved september 30, 2014
our teen mother program served 12 young mothers all who returned to school, three graduated from high school, three attending community college, two employed. All received dental, health and mental health services. Two of the young mothers transitioned to permanent housing, others returned to alternative housing with family reunification or with friends. Their children received health and dental care and received a good report as healthy babies/toddlers.
