Mission: Child soldiers international's mission is to end the recruitment, use of children by armed forces and groups, and to support the safe return of child soldiers to civilian life.
Programs: Democratic republic of congo in drc child soldiers international has researched and developed best practice guidelines to support the reintegration and recovery of girls formerly associated with armed groups. We are rolling out our practical guide through our network of civil society organisations, whom we are supporting to work with communities across the conflict- affected eastern provinces. We are complementing this work with a pilot project, which is providing educational support to the formerly associated girls who contributed towards our research.

This project includes the launch of our child soldiers world index, an online global resource designed to provide up to date, accurate information to policy makers and child protection actors across the world, and strengthen efforts worldwide to end child recruitment.
