Geographic areas served: Child Focus serves children, families and adults in Southwest Ohio.
Programs: Behavioral health and Early Learning: Behavioral health includes parenting education, substance abuse prevention, day treatment, prevention and consultation, individual, family and group therapy, diagnostic testing and psychiatric services in an outpatient and school based setting. Other programs include foster care, independent living, management of a county wide 24 hour crisis hotline (528-save), mobile crisis services, community programs and professional training.
Early learning includes head start and early head start for children birth through five years of age in a center based or home based setting. These programs are for income eligible families and promote healthy growth and development, parenting education, nutrition education and other supports. Program performance standards require that 10% of enrollment be made available to children with disabilities. Other programming includes day care services, kindergarten enrichment and before and after school care in the west clermont school district. Over 1000 children are helped annually in center or home based programs throughout clermont county.
