We have worked with Child & Family Resources for years and with their help have been able to provide many children with excellent care and educational programming that they otherwise would not have received. Child & Family Resources is committed not only to assisting families with finding care, but to working with families to provide resources and support to enable them to be the best possible parents.
Beyond their role with children and families, CFR has been an invaluable support to our center throughout our journey as a pilot center for Grow NJ Kids. Their technical assistance has contributed to our thoughtful and sustainable decision making and planning processes and has allowed us to make excellent progress toward attaining our quality rating.
This is a tremendous, and vastly underappreciated, community resource.

The staff at Child and Family Resources have been an amazing support to our daycare center. The have helped with training on subjects from infant care to Special Needs care. I can call with questions and there is always someone who has an answer.

They most recently are helping our center with the process of Grow NJ Kids and have been an invaluable resource! Carmela has so much knowledge on early childhood education and what we as a center need that it has been a pleasure to work with her. She understands the obstacles that we face and has great advice on how to overcome them.

I look forward to continuing to work with Child and Family Resources as we strive to provide the best possible care for the children in our center.

I have collaborated with Child and Family Resources for a few years now, and everything they offer from professional development classes to assistance with families in need of child care subsidies has been a smooth and friendly interaction. I have most recently received information from this organization on how to improve the quality of my preschool program and it's environment, and I think that is a single most important factor to any preschool and child care center! THANK YOU, Child and Family Resources for all that you do!

The Greater Morristown YMCA has worked with Child and Family Resources for over 20 years.
I have always found the collaboration to be of the highest quality. They are a wonderful organization and seem to be always on the cutting edge of what is new in Child Care. The programs they have provided to child care professionals, over the past 20 years have been wonderful and informative. The fact that this organization can find the appropriate programs and then find the funding to bring the programs to the child care centers at an affordable cost is a tribute to their success!

I have had the pleasure working with the staff from Child and Family Resources for several years. I have always found the staff to be professional and extremely helpful. They have provided many beneficial workshops to our Education staff. Several of our Teacher Assistants are taking the CDA coursework through Child and Family Resources and always give positive feedback about the classes and the instructors.
I worked very closely with one staff person this year who guided our program through the process of Grow New Jersey. I found Carmela to be very professional and dedicated to the children and families of our program.
I look forward to our continued collaboration with Child and Family Resources.

My center, Country Day School in Oak Ridge, recently opened a new infant/toddler room. Carmela helped with this process in many ways. She visited my center on multiple occasions to provide input regarding classroom layout, furniture, toys and even color schemes - all for the best quality care for our new little learners!! Then she returned once the room was open to observe, provide education on site as well as encouragement and support. In addition, she informed me of 12 free hours of infant/toddler training which 4 of my staff members were able to participate in. We are all very grateful for her wonderful teaching. It was so helpful.

I have also had opportunity to interact with Sue Stiles regarding subsidized childcare. She was always so helpful to quickly resolve any confusion or problems that we experienced.

Thanks so much CFR,
B. Craig
Director

As director of a Head Start program, I have had the pleasure of collaborating with Child & Family Resources on many events to serve our staff and the community at large. We have found the training and technical assistance offered by CFR to be particularly valuable. The Child Development Associate credential program has been a fantastic resource to build the credentials of Early Head Start teachers and Head Start Teacher Assistants to fulfill Head Start Program Performance Standards. The training provided by CFR is culturally and linguistically responsive to the needs of our staff, most of whom are from the same community as the families we serve. In fact, we have several parents who have been supported in the credentialing process by CFR. The offering of high-quality professional development programming in Spanish has been a tremendous asset for local early care and education providers. The advocacy and information provided by CFR is another outstanding part of their work to support quality childcare in Morris County.

I have been a director/owner of a childcare center for over 28 years. I have worked closely with CFR in all capacities. They have been a tremendous help in every way. The New echildcare system was very difficult to implement and they went out of there way to help me be able to understand it. They even found a volunteer to help just me! My staff and I have all attended a countless number of trainings. CFR has helped so many of my families with referring them to places where they could get assistance if they needed it for financial or developmental reasons. All there help is given happily and patiently. I am very thankful to have such a great organization available to me and my families. Our children are so fortunate!

Child & Family Resources is so important to the childcare industry! As a small privately owned childcare in Morris County I have reached out to them for support many times. They truly are committed to bettering the lives of young children and those that care for them through coaching and training of staff; resources on loan to programs; coordinating funding for children in need to be able to receive quality care and more.

Over the past year I have been working with Child and Family resources at Mount Arlington. We are a child care center who is involved with Grow NJ Kids program. I have found the staff very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. They are eager to share their knowledge and help our center reach the quality level that every child deserves to have. I thank them for their help during this process and look forward to our continued success.
