Its serves special needs children ages 2 to 5 from new hanover, pender and brunswick counties of north carolina. It aims to help children achieve their optimum level of function and independence by teaching them skills that will allow them to enjoy the tasks and activities of everyday life. Its center-based setting provides a valuable family support system. Children expand and enrich their overall development through individual education plans designed and implantedin a collaborative environment of parents, educators, clinicians, therapists, counselors and nutritionists. The center is committed to providing the highest quality educational and therapeutic services in an atmosphere of dignity, respect and caring. The center offers aftercare and summer programming for working parents.
