Mission: The mission of child care services of york county is to ensure the delivery of high quality care for york county families, in safe, nurturing and stimulating environments that allow all children to reach their full potential. We are committed to supporting caregivers through ongoing training, compensation and career advancement.
Programs: Children's centers- the children's centers provided day care for (on average) 105 children of low and middle income working families in york county.
the carelink child care resource and referral program provided referral services to over 2,000 families while also providing training and professional development to over 200 child care providers.
the child development accreditation york county program provided a training and credentialing program for 38 child care providers.
outreach services aimed at furthering the organization's mission in the community as a whole.
